Manhattan Bridge

The Manhattan Bridge is a suspension bridge that crosses the East River in New York City, connecting Lower Manhattan (at Canal Street) with Brooklyn (at Flatbush Avenue). It was the last of the 3 suspension bridges across the lower East River, opening on December 31st 1909.

The Brooklyn side (DUMBO – "Down under Manhattan Bridge overpass") was flush with design studios and street art.
