It's about a 40-minute trek from Jávea Port up to the San Antonio Lighthouse, steep in a couple of places and rocky, but mostly a pleasant walk with spectacular views over the Bahia de Jávea.
Previous forest fires have taken out much of the hillside vegetation, but a few years on it's slowly returning.
Along the route there are several examples of the terracing that used to cover much of the Spanish countryside.
