Els Molins – "The Windmills".
These windmills look over the historic quarter of Jávea from their high vantage point like sentinels.
The first windmill was constructed in the 14th Century, followed over the years by a further 10 towers. They're pretty run down, without rooves or blades. They made use of the “llebeig”, a south-westerly wind that blows almost constantly in Trencall de la Plana.
